NS southbound 13K splits the position lights at the north end of the Speicherville siding or MP 53 on the Marion Branch.

These Pennsy position lights have seen plenty of sunrises in their day, but every sunrise brings the ultimate sunset just a little bit closer.

Signal 50 on the NS Marion Branch greets a winter sunrise on a frigid February morning.

NS north bound 311 passes the endangerd ex PRR CPL at MP 50 as the sun is about to come up. The remaining CPL's on the NS Marion District are to be replaced this year.

Southbound 312 rolls through CP 53, the north end of the Speicherville siding. This was our last shot of the chase, after covering 60 some miles between Dunlap and Urbana.

The familiar outline of a Pennsy position light signal is silhouetted by the rising sun north of Urbana, but for how much longer is anyone's guess. Rumors of their impending replacement abound.
